This is how we work with labor conditions at the factories

Cubus is part of the Varner group, which actively works to ensure good working conditions and safe workplaces for factory workers. Through Varner's CSR department, several risk areas are focused on, such as health and safety, the right to organize, wages, employment conditions, overtime, and women's rights.

Both announced and unannounced factory visits are conducted to improve health and safety in the factories we cooperate with. Varner has also signed the Accord agreement to make the textile industry safer. When it comes to wages and employment conditions, Varner ensures that workers have formal employment contracts and that they are not paid less than the minimum wage.

Varner also supports workers' right to organize in trade unions and works to ensure that all workers are fairly represented in the workplace. Discrimination and women's rights are another important focus area. In Bangladesh and Turkey, Varner has implemented several initiatives to combat discrimination and promote equality.

Since 2021, Varner has published its own sustainability report, which describes how we work with people, materials, environment, and climate. In addition, you will find the status and progress on our sustainability goals. You can find the sustainability report here.
